Well, I haven't posted in a while. Not because nothing has been going on, but because there haven't been any "major" events. I thought I would just stop in and ramble about what we've been up to!
Taylor sang another solo at church. She sang Casting Crowns song "Voice of Truth". Here is the link to the YouTube video. She got her grade card and her grades went down. Fourth grade has been a tough transition. This is her first year to receive actual grades, and I think she is realizing that every homework assignment counts now! I'm sure she will bring them back up, but it was a shock to us. She is doing well in indoor soccer and continues to take piano lessons.
Drew is in basketball right now with parks and rec and really enjoying it. He also starts a trick dribbling program today, the Ballerz. He is SO EXCITED about that. This Saturday is Mommy and Me dance! This will be our second time going. I'm really looking forward to it. Drew's grade card was very strong, and the teacher continues to comment on how fun he is to have in class! Boy oh Boy!! FUN! I can only imagine!
Toby has been home six months now! AMAZING! The time has gone by so fast. We have our final post placement visit with the social worker Tuesday evening. I bought a Chunei last week to carry Toby around. I will have to post a photo, but it is what they use in Korea to carry the children. He LOVES it. Until now, he would bring me a blanket and try and crawl on my back because he wanted to be carried. The carrier should be good until around 40 pounds, so we can use it for a little while. Just another opportunity for bonding. I really wish I would have gotten it sooner!
Nate is in a band! I know, I'm sure those of you that know him are not surprised. He's been playing with some friends from church and they are having a wonderful time. He is playing Bass in the band and also now has an electric guitar. Our living room looks like a teenager lives here... well I guess you could say one does! Nate will never grow up... which is why I love him! I'll post pictures soon, as well as some videos!

Finalization Date!
Yeah!! We have a date!! Toby's adoption will be legal and finalized on Monday, March 10th. We do not know what time yet, but it is so exciting to have a date. It is only a few days after Nate's birthday, which is fun! I will have to look back at my journal, but I believe that is very close to the day that we first saw his picture!! I know we verbally accepted his referral on March 22, so I'm guessing it was about a week before that that we first saw his photo and began praying about whether or not this was the child God had for us. I'm so thankful he was!! He is a blessing beyond words!
We have to go to Summit County Courthouse and are hoping to make a very special day of it. The older two kids will be with us that day as well.
I know I said I was working on Christmas videos, and I am!! I have uploaded the video, now I just need to edit... when I get an hour of free time !!

Happy 2008!!
Time sure does fly!! We had a lot of fun at Nate's sisters house for New Years. It was kind of sad to see 2007 come to an end. The year that we were blessed with Toby! However, 2008 will be exciting, too, as we finalize the adoption in February (we're hoping).
Here are a few photos from our New Years celebrations. Toby had fun watching The Wiggles at Aunt Mer and Uncle Michaels. Not sure if he was more mesmerized with The Wiggles, or the size of them...
Drew enjoyed playing Guitar Hero with Braden. These boys are going to be famous one day! Just wait and see.
A little blurry, but here is Toby with his Uncle Tommy!
And here is a photo of Toby with Grandma Debbie at her house New Years Day.
A lot to be thankful for in 2007, a lot to look forward to in 2008! We will have a 10 year old this year!!! Drew will start First Grade and Toby will start Pre-School, and we will celebrate his first birthday home with us as he turns 3 years old.
Stay tuned, I'm working on a few videos I hope to post by the end of the week.
